Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. Unfortunately, the internet has other ideas.
What this site collects
Nothing about you just for visiting. This is a static community website: no account, no personal-information form, no advertising tracker, no community-run analytics, and no database of visitors. Our site code does not set cookies or use browser storage to follow you around. The mining calculator runs in your browser; its inputs are not sent to us. The donation page displays an address but does not handle your transaction.
What GitHub collects
GitHub Pages hosts this site. GitHub says it logs visitors' IP addresses for security, whether or not they are signed in. We do not control GitHub's hosting logs. Read GitHub's Pages data-collection notice and GitHub's Privacy Statement for the details.
Other ships in these waters
Some features contact outside services directly from your browser. The home page loads publication articles through an RSS-to-JSON service and images from Medium. The Wallets page asks GitHub for current releases, and the Branding page loads art from GitHub. Community videos use YouTube and Google; the Mining page requests network and price data from Pirate Chain explorers and CoinGecko.
Those services can receive ordinary request details, such as your IP address and browser information, and may use cookies under their own policies. We do not receive their logs. You can read the policies for Medium, Google and YouTube, and CoinGecko. Following a link to a wallet store, exchange, social platform, merchant, or another website also puts you under that site's privacy policy.
What you choose to share
If you email us or reach out through a linked community service, you choose what to send. The website itself does not collect your message; the email or community service carries it. Please do not send private keys or recovery phrases to anyone.
Updates and questions
If this site or its services change, we will update this page. For questions, contact the community.
